This Is What We Sang A story of love and atonement by Gavin Kostick

This Is What We sang is set on Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, five family members from across the globe and across the centuries seek absolution for their past. As they relate the tales of their lives, their secrets and sins, they tell the story of Belfast, the city they made home.
Premiered at the Belfast Synagogue as part of the Ulster Bank Festival at Queens, the play was the culmination of two years work by Kabosh, Gavin Kostick and the Belfast Jewish Community.

Gavin Kostick has written over a dozen plays which have been produced in Dublin, on tour around Ireland, the UK, New York, Philadelphia and Romania. His previous works include; The Ash Fire, The Flesh Addict, The Asylum Ball, Forked, The Medusa, An Image for the Rose Parts 1, 2 and 3. Gavin is the Literary Manager for Fishamble.
Founded in 1994, Kabosh is the only site-specific theatre company in the nort of Ireland and is committed to challenging the notion of what theatre is and where it takes place.
